Philip is delighted to be Guest Director for Bill Kenwright Limited this summer, staging Noël Coward’s The Marquise, transposed to the Thirties, followed by Clive Francis’s adaptation of Our Man In Havana. These open at the Theatre Royal Windsor and then tour.
Philip recently returned to Chichester Festival Theatre as adapter and co-lyricist of Matt Haig’s A Boy Called Christmas, with music by Tom Brady. This followed on from his new version of Cinderella, with music by Jason Carr, which was performed in December 2024 and has just been published by Nick Hern Books.
He is also currently developing a stage version of The Leather Boys with Sam Thorpe-Spinks and The Dreams of Youth, a new queer play, with Stuart Eggleton.
